The one thing which I came across and have noticed now a days is that the Television is now become more of female oriented. Almost every channel offers bunch of useless programmes which according to our great Indian wives are full of meat and material to taste.
Few days back one more TV programme was launched on star plus named TERE LIYE, it is said to be a love story of a couple and so as its been promoted in the television. I thought to give it a look because I was much curious to see whether it’s of the standard of LOVE STORY by Anurag Basu which was telecast on Sab TV few years back. But contrary to my eagerness and ecstasy, the show failed to change the doom of feminine turned TV world. It’s nothing but a dull show of family drama, useless exhibition of differences between the husband and wife and the showy of glamor. So without being afoul I resist myself from staring furthermore, I switched off the TV.
Its again more of female than youth oriented programme.
So what I want to say basically is that, this is not the story of me, or you, it’s the story of every viewer who want to have some good stuff on the TV. But unfortunately or fortunately or whatever, (a bit confusion), it’s all the story of our Indian TV world.
Well, there is nothing harm in it if television is turning itself to be female oriented because the ultimate viewer of small tv screen is the house wives. Those (especially males)who are working or searching some work hardly get any time to pay attention to the latest happening in the TV world.
And the masters of the show telecaster, the owners and every entity attached with the Indian TV cinema sensed the need and urgency of camouflage.
It’s time to wind up now, with the hope of a bit rectification and with the hope of the day when the telecasters will approve the existence of one more species, who actually buy television for those females only.
