that furious night in Dehradun...its a heartbreak...(Final Part...)

So this was the thing why Sumit a few minutes back wasn’t getting a healthy feeling. Things went way wrong then I or say we could ever imagine. I narrated the whole painful scene to “Anisha” which took place in past an hour. I also told her that her dad might be reaching here in next 5-10 minutes.

She occupied the corner most space of the iron bench. While her friend was standing and holding both of Anisha’s hands in her palm and was rubbing those gentle hands more gently. I don’t know what could be the outcome of this honeyed act. The environment was whole calm and sobbing could be heard easily, more easily then the loud drizzling and lightning. Even after so many attempts and efforts of her friend, Anisha wasn’t able to stop her tears.

After around 7 minutes of unbearable moments I saw a silver wagonR car approaching towards bus stand, and I knew who it could be and what’ going to be next.

“oh god, I guess I am about to witness the second unendurable scene of the day or say of my life” Sumit uttered very calmly with a stammering voice. Well at least he was still able to utter something, all the other guys seems to be in coma.

As Anisha saw the car, she identified that it must be her dad. She stood up…..!!! and what’s next….?? ...The sobbing was now turned into a huge and loud cry. She started crying like hell, she was by now started shaking badly. My heart started sinking deep and down.

Deepak couldn’t control himself and yelled, “Someone stop her or else she gonna die yaar” and he moved towards her.

I wasn’t able to face it anymore, I moved towards the wagonR which stopped near the scooty. I saw her dad. He was probably into his 50’s, I guess 55 plus. He gazed through his thick glasses at me and came out of the car, he forget to switch off the ignition of the engine and also left his wallet and mobile in the car itself. He was wearing the bathroom sleepers and white kurta-paijama as if he was planning to go to bed before he got my call. His wife opened the doors and ran towards her daughter to console her.

“What happens to my sweet baby”

Once Anisha told me that her father is in Army  and probably that’s the reason they were residing at the cantonment. The old man seems to be tough but as he spoke the above lines, I could easily predicted that he was completely broken from inside.

I narrated the whole story once again and then soon he left for hospital along with his wife and both of the girls.

Sushil told me that he had called Ravi for Bike as we will be going to Hospital directly. Sumit and Deepak planned to leave for the room but before that they wanted to kick the Activa for the last time. Might be possible that after such painful situations that Scooty left her attitude and may offer us some help. Deepak came nearer to scooty, looked towards Sumit...!! then me, smiled... and put his feet on the kicker of the Activa but then then taken off. I don’t know what was going into his mind. He gently pressed the Electric Start button of the Activa and Hurrree…..in very first attempt, engine took ignition. Sumit and Deepak left to the Hospital while I and sushil were waiting for Ravi. He then also arrived in couple of minutes. And in next 15 minutes , we reached at the Hospital. As we went inside, there was nothing but crying-crying and a hell lot of crying. We saw that old man, holding his thick glasses in his hands, he was weeping like a small child and sitting beside him was Anisha’s friend. We saw Sumit and Deepak standing calmly at one of the Corner but we couldn’t  saw Anisha and her mother. Before I could saw something else, Deepak Came nearer towards us and said:

“Yaar…!!!....There is a sad news, THE GAL PASSED AWAY…!!!...Doctors declared her brought dead due to excessive internal head bleeding”.

“...................." i was quiet.
and where is Anisha and her mother??” Sushil asked.

“They got fainted as they heard this” he answered.

So that was the night. A painful and an answered night, a night full of tragic ends. The rain was still in its full mood. There were water everywhere on the road and sailing in that were the pure emotions...!!! my  emotions, Anisha’s emotions and her family’s emotions. I saw Deepak wiping something from his eye. Didn’t know was that a tear or something else. I saw Sushil..!!, I saw Sumit..!!, I saw Ravi and I saw every one. They were all like dead. I even saw that scooty at the gate which wasn’t showing any attitude now and was standing quiet and calm, ready to offer any kind of help.

After that horrible night, Anisha took one month break from college, missed her semester examinations and was now sitting with me at the first middle row in the class. She was perfectly ok by now. Her father was still depressed but was gaining rapidly. Her mother too was perfectly alright.

She than gave me the answer of my almost dead question and I guess that was the best answer I could ever expect from anyone in my whole life;

“Ajit…!!! You are a nice guy…everyone should have a friend like you…I need you and be with me always”

THE END….

that furious night in Dehradun...(Part 2)

(...continued from previous)

I looked back at Sushil who was running towards the Endeavour car to offer some help , and then I saw at the driver of that car, she was a girl. I just got a glimpse so couldn't figure it out whether she was matured enough to drive such monster on road. She was still conscious but I guess was terrified. She just accelerated her vehicle and landed on the other side of the road. The Side window of her car was already cracked and then this hurried act furthermore resulted in the breaking of the rear mirror and a heavy scratch on the side door after when the car got rubbed to the iron fencing of the divider. The terrified girl finally eluded from the spot.

Both of the guys returned and were perplexed. The situation itself gave us the reason to be annoyed. We all were looking at the girl who was swooned on the road. After a minute sushil took out his mobile, switched it on and made a call to 108 (ambulance in emergency).

“I don’t think they will reach here on the time as its raining heavily” said Sumit.

He and Deepak lifted up the girl. They carried her up to the footpath under the shed of bus stand.

Condition of the girl was miserable. The right cheek of the girl was tore, blood was coming out of her nose and head, both of her hands were rubbed so badly on the concrete road that the flesh of one of the hand came out thus allowed us to have a look at white bone which was maculated with blood by now.

“Omg, I can’t see that, we need to do something, we can’t wait for ambulance” said Deepak tiding his dirty white handkerchief on the girls head. The white handkerchief in no time turned red.

We and Sushil lifted the scooty and were trying to ignite its engine after when we decided to took the girl on the scooty to some nearby clinic or healthcare. Deepak came and was all dismayed. In the mean time few people also gathered at the bus stand. The fuel of the scooty was overflowed and hence wasn’t taking ignition.

“Damn it, nothing seems to be working well” I said giving a kick on the front tyre.
“Give a call to Ravi or Karan, they have a bike, tell them to reach here asap” I told to sushil.

after couple second of silence, Deepak exclaimed finally.
“Hey guys, did you hear something”

Intense hooting of the ambulance was breaking the fierce of the environment. Finally something positive happened. The ambulance arrived on the time. It stopped near the bus stand and we ran towards it. The ambulance was accompanied by a junior doctor (I made a guess by her age), two attendants and a driver. The attendants took the girl inside the ambulance with the help of strature within no time and then penned down some details. Ambulance vanished soon dominating again the fierce sound of rain drops.

Sumit showed something to us and said;
“I got this from her pocket; she is an undergraduate commerce student at some college. I had already called her dad. He will be coming here in say half an hour. So we need to wait for him here only.”
It was the hostel identity card. We four were seated on the iron bench of the bus stand and were waiting for the girl’s dad. We were completely wet. Road was emptied again. I could saw the scooty which few minutes back denied to provide us any kind of help and now was standing in full of her attitude though the headlight was broken and the seat been tore as well. The red water was spread all around it.

Finally after around ten minutes Sumit broke the deep silence of the environment. He said to me that he got a call from her. She was actually asking for me, since my mobile was off so she called him instead. Sumit said that she is at her friends PG and desperate to meet you. She will be here in next forty minutes.

But now I don’t know why, but I wasn't ecstasized and it was quite enigmatic for me. May be because the girl’s misery were far more important than my feelings right at that moment. But yea somewhere in my heart, I was waiting for her…. waiting for her answer.

After in, say five minutes, she arrived on her activa with one of her friend. Both of them were covering themselves with colorful raincoat. She was driving the activa and suddenly stopped near that egoistic scooty. She stared at the scooty and then at her friend. And soon came to me. She was looking more perplexed and anxious than I expected her to be.

“What’s Minisha’s scooty is doing here, and what’s all this Red-Red….., bloodddddd….??”.

Well, I was expecting some answer but I got the question. She asked even though her facial expression were revealing that she knew the possible answer.

Who Minisha?? I asked.

“My sisterrrr, you Idiot” she answered in shivering voice. we got stunned and our Jaws were wide open. My body was all crippled as I heard this..

that furious night in Dehradun...(Part 1)

I still remember, It was 9 in the evening and I was walking on the road in the vicinity of the clock tower. Three of my friends (or say my life's best buddies, my roommates in dehradun) were also with me there but they were lagging couple of metres to me, all busy on the phone. Can't guess with whom. Well…!! to be sure, Sushil was busy in trying and convincing her maa to not to make such hurry for his marriage as he is not ready at all to get tied in nought, he is into daily exercise for this since past couple of weeks but after all you know, mother is a mother, and to convince her is sometimes very easy and sometimes you have to burn all your calories.

I was waiting for some call and was holding the cell in my palm. suddenly it started raining. Well, if you are in Doon, you hardly get any conveyance after nine in the night and before five in the morning and you can easily predict the coming rain, because rain happens to be at Mussoorie first and then at the downwards, say Doon. And Vista of the Mussoorie from Doon after rain is so beatific and romantic that its nothing less than the Heaven. Instead of taking shelter I kept on walking and enjoying the rain, but from bottom of my heart, I was negating everything right at that moment, the other of my roommates soon joined me because they all disconnected the call and kept the mobile in their pockets.

But me.....???? I was still holding the phone in my hand, still waiting for that magical call…, more fifteen minutes were passed, and drizzling was getting furious. I haven't felt such craze in doon’s rain in the past. It seems nature was also angry on her and was supporting me in full zeal. There was something different in that night. the roads were all clear, apart from we four, the other living thing I saw was a small frog, who, if I guess correctly, came out to enjoy the monsoon.

Sushil, who was by now drenched completely, was trying to protect his mobile and money by isolating them in a poly bag he got from the footpath, said to me..

"what happen, why you always acts as a Dumbo, if she is not giving the call, why don’t you give her the call instead. learn to take initiations"

"let her take as much time as she needed, let her arrive on to some decision, she will definitely call Ajit, I know these gals" said Deepak supporting me.

In this case two of the guys always support me, sumit and deepak, yea short of sushil too but he is more of practical in nature. I was about to switch off my mobile since I do not want my expensive mobile to get washed away in my anger. I love her and similarly I love my gadgets too. suddenly my phone started vibrating, yes..!! I got call, her name was flashing on the screen.

"look, what I said, I know these gals, pick the phone before it get disconnected" said Deepak.

I disconnected the call and reverted back to her.

"helllo" I said.

"hello..!! Ajiiiiiittt, where are you..?? what you said to her, she is not in the hostel, she was  so depressed, I haven't informed this to anyone, else clamoring in the hostel will start soon. do you know where is she? she left her phone also".

I assured the caller that things will be fine and then disconnected the call, I was stunned and so were all the other three guys.

"whats hapening all this, I am not getting the healthy feelings, damn it..." Sumit finally spoke something.

Before I could utter something from my speechless mouth, we all heard a loud sound, a car got crashed with a two wheeler back at the clock tower, it was still raining heavily, we all ran, and as we reached at the spot, we all got frozen.

"ohhhh myyyy godddd" said sushil and deepak in unison, while I and Sumit started shaking.

It was the scooty which got hit by the Endeavour car, the girl was bleeding heavily and was thrown on the road. Probably she was not into her senses by now.

In hurry I and Deepak rushed towards the gal while Sumit and Sushil rushed towards the Car who in escaping the scooty got hit on the road divider.

please give us fresh entertainment..bollywood

Yesterday I went to East End mall - Rajouri Garden to watch "Twilight - Eclipse" and I find the movie really interesting, what a way to present the love. And today, I was watching 9XM and was listening to some of the really good tracks, in between the break, as usual the advertisement of about to release and already released movie was flashing on the screen. and ufff....I saw yet another Dumbo movie add of Karan Johar's about to release "WE ARE FAMILY". I mean what the hell this is, he can't think something different, in his every creativity (useless), he just use to present the same thing in different different manner. And listen the tracks of that movie, omg...are they songs or some bad speech, why the hell people then curse Himesh despite of his satisfactory and some time awesome work, like recently in MILENGE MILENGE and KAJRAARE.

I wondered after seeing the  "Twilght" about the time when bollywood and Karan's movie (the ugliest and most weird) will try  to catch up with the standards of the Hollywood, I mean look at them, they are so perfect in every thing, love, romance, action, fiction, history, sports, drama, comedy (well I have a li'l doubt in comedy section). And I guess I will keep wondering and audience will keep praising those ugliest movies.

days don't remain the same

Days don't remain the same always, I posted sometimes back a picture saying "those were the days", and really those were the days in the lush of my City (Doon of-course). I mean, daily I used to go college, enjoy there, gossiping, tittering and giggling all the day with best buddies. Sometimes flirting with ....no not the class gals (they were all so crap)...but with few female faculties and ohh yeah, ..attending the class too...Really those were the days.

And now contrary to them, these are the days I am living in Delhi (well it sucks always to be here, this city is nothing less than a hell), tough days, really tough days, no college, no friends, leaving the home in the morning for the interviews and hoping that some interviewer (who might be more or less in knowledge than me) may judge me right, and that is what not happening. Mapping the distances in Delhi is so damn bad, I feel like uttering some abusive language, but not sure on to whom, to myslef? to Delhi? or who??

But what I feel people especially from there adolescence be conversant with those situations in which they may find themselves uncomfortable. I got motivated when I saw following picture......

picture tell us how to prosper in tough time....
I also posted a line sometimes back in a blog that "morning has to come after every night" as days don't remain the same. Cheers...

so ! you dislike your own language?

Today I went to see a Hollywood movie named KNIGHT AND DAY (Hindi) at a PVR with one of my friend. In the meanwhile during our discussion about the show we should go for, I saw a guy who was standing in the queue, he was wearing branded shorts and a hell looking T-shirt with a pair of Vivid colour shoes, putting up so much flash on her skeleton, that if his skeleton had have some kind of alarm (like a lift have) then it will soon get buzzed raising the alarm “overweight”. He soon get dejected when the lady at ticket counter said that the show of THE LAST AIRBENDOR (in English) has been cancelled for the day. He came back to discuss on the issue with his friend who was also burdening too much on the earth. His friend suggested him to buy the ticket for KNIGHT AND DAY and the dejected guy was like, as if someone has just suggested him to remove his shorts in the public. With wide-open mouth he said,

“what are you talking, a movie in Hindi, no way”

And then they moved away to some other PVR.

So these are our Indian “Metro” youths. What our nation can expect from them if they can’t manage to listen to Hindi. It seems that the breed of the city’s youths have changed. They are more fashionable (so what if it makes them a cartoon), they hate Hindi now, they believe that if you are single then you are worth for nothing, they hardly cares about the problems of neighbours.

A year back I read an article in the newspaper that India have the highest number of youths and that’s a point where economy of others can be beaten. What a bummer this is, jubilee per cent of the Indian youths don’t even know what exactly they want to do in the future. And if this is the condition then believe me, we are going nowhere, and this is the ground reality. Sensex is just a Miraz.

Note – blog doesn’t mean that I hate English (it’s just that I prefer my own language) and Movie  was a money waste.

Hare and Tortoise compete again

Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was faster.
Hare - I’m the fastest runner.
Tortoise - That’s not true. The fastest runner is me!

They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route and started off the race. The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time. Then seeing that he was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought he'd sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise plodding on overtook him and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ. The hare woke up and realized that he'd lost the race.
Moral of the story The moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race
This is the version of the story that we've all grown up with.
The story continues …

The hare was disappointed at losing the race and he did some soul-searching. He realized that he'd lost the race only because he had been overconfident, careless and lax. If he had not taken things for granted, there's no way the tortoise could have beaten him.
So he challenged the tortoise to another race. The tortoise agreed.

Hare - Can we have another race..??

Tortoise - Ok..'

This time, the hare went all out and ran without stopping from start to finish. He won by several miles.

But the story doesn't end here …

The tortoise did some thinking this time, and realized that there's no way he can beat the hare in a race the way it was currently formatted.
He thought for a while, and then challenged the hare to another race, but on a slightly different route.
The hare agreed.

Tortoise -
Can we have another race? This time we’ll go through a different route.

Hare - Sure..

They started off. In keeping with his self-made commitment to be consistently fast, the hare took off and ran at top speed until he came to a broad river. The finishing line was a couple of kilometers on the other side of the river.
The hare sat there wondering what to do. In the meantime the tortoise trundled along, got into the river, swam to the opposite bank, continued walking and finished the race.

Moral of the story -

First identify your core competency and then change the playing field to suit your core competency

In an organization, if you are a good speaker, make sure you create opportunities to give presentations that enable the senior management to notice you.
If your strength is analysis, make sure you do some sort of research, make a report and send it upstairs.
Working to your strengths will not only get you noticed, but will also create opportunities for growth and advancement.

The story still hasn't ended …

The hare and the tortoise, by this time, had become pretty good friends and they did some thinking together. Both realized that the last race could have been run much better.
So they decided to do the last race again, but to run as a team this time.

Hare -
Hi, buddy. How
about doing our last
race again?

Tortoise -
Great! I think we could do it much better, if we two help each other.

They started off, and this time the hare carried the tortoise till the riverbank.
There, the tortoise took over and swam across with the hare on his back.
On the opposite bank, the hare again carried the tortoise and they reached the finishing line together. They both felt a greater sense of satisfaction than they'd felt earlier.

The moral of the story?

I
t's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies; but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each other's core competencies, you'll always perform below par because there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else does well.

Teamwork is mainly about situational leadership, letting the person with the relevant core competency for a situation take leadership.

Let’s go and build stronger teams!
